Project

Decoration of the facades of the production building No. 2 of the Ternopil Dairy Plant PJSC

This project was implemented with the aim of updating the architectural image of one of the main production buildings of the “Molokia” enterprise in the city of Ternopil. The project combines modern cladding technologies, high aesthetic standards, and functional reliability.

Architectural Idea

The renovated facade is designed in a restrained, technological style. The dominant materials include Ruukki sandwich panels and SHARP 40 facade slats with a concise DESIGN VENICE S10 profile. The main emphasis is placed on geometric clarity, uniform vertical segmentation of surfaces, and sharp horizontal division lines.
Lighting effects enhance the architectural plasticity of the facades: evening illumination emphasizes the rhythm of window openings and metal elements, creating a modern industrial image. Select facade surfaces are accentuated with RAL 9006 (light metallic grey) metal panels, contrasted against the general white palette (RAL 9010).

Functional Aspects

The facade renovation not only visually modernizes the structure but also serves practical purposes:

  • improvement of thermal insulation characteristics;
  • increased durability and resistance to external environmental influences;
  • integration of facade lighting (30 Philips SmartBright BVP175 floodlights) to create a safe and expressive evening environment.

Technical Specifications

  • Total cladding area: 4716.90 m²
  • Main materials: Ruukki SP2D sandwich panels (with vertical installation) — over 1300 m²; SHARP 40 slats — over 1100 m²; profiled design elements — over 2100 m².
  • Color scheme: RAL 9010 (white) + RAL 9006 (light metallic)
  • Mounting subsystem: CA1SS1 elements, PORAR 6K fasteners, SFS intec

Construction Nodes

The project includes a complete set of nodes for reliable fastening:

  • window and door installation to sandwich panels;
  • corner joint solutions;
  • parapet, windowsill, and drip edge nodes;
  • insulation solutions using polyurethane gaskets and sealants.

The renovation of the facades of Production Building No. 2 is an example of a comprehensive approach to the revitalization of industrial architecture. The project not only improves the visual appearance but also provides a new standard of operational quality and energy efficiency, while maintaining the technological rigor and functional logic of the production environment.
